Mr. Karlon Batchasingh is a result-oriented professional with over twenty-eight (28) years of progressive experience in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical sectors. His extensive career has seen him excel in areas such as Finance, Project Management, Risk Management, and Health, Environment, Safety and Quality (HSEQ) compliance.
A proud past pupil of Gran Couva R.C. School and Presentation College Chaguanas, Mr. Batchasingh’s academic journey led him to the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus and School of Accounting and Management, where he earned his first degree in Business Administration. Driven by a passion for continuous learning and professional growth, he later pursued and attained his qualifications in accounting. His commitment to corporate governance, resulted in him acquiring qualifications as a Professionally Accredited Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Batchasingh went on to obtain his MBA in General Management, with specializations in Finance and Project Management, equipping him with well-rounded competencies to lead in the dynamic energy sector.
His professional career at Trinidad Nitrogen Company Limited (TRINGEN) began in the Finance Department as an Accountant. Through consistent performance and leadership, he rose to the position of Senior Accountant, and now serves as President of the Company, overseeing strategic operations and growth initiatives.
