ARNOLD RAM
A seasoned professional with a wealth of knowledge in various fields, Mr. Arnold Ram is currently a practising Attorney-at-Law. He entered the legal profession in 2018 and has been representing clients at both the Magistrate’s Court, High Court of Justice and appellant Courts in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, pertaining to both criminal and civil matters.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Mr. Ram amassed over fifteen (15) years of extensive experience in state enterprise organisations including Point Lisas Industrial Development Corporation (PLIPDECO), Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) and more recently the Telecommunication Services of Trinidad & Tobago (TSTT), where he served in a senior management position. Mr. Ram also served as a Director on the Board of Directors at Petrotrin, between the period 2010 to 2015. In this role, he diversified his experience in corporate governance and strategic leadership and decision-making.
Mr. Ram is the holder of a Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) from the University of Staffordshire as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Herriott-Watt University. Additionally, he attained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
In addition to his professional qualifications, Mr. Ram possesses diverse technical skills in the areas of Power Systems, Software Programming and Digital Control Systems.
Mr. Ram leverages his extensive experience in leadership to advance any state enterprise, to which he is affiliated, by adding value in innovation, implementing efficient operational processes, focusing on long-term strategic vision to achieve national goals, engaging with stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensuring the organisation serves public interests.
