2025 May 02 Press Release – NP Partners with Rotary Club to Support Youth Athletics

In keeping with its ongoing commitment to support fence line communities as well as sports and youth development, Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) partnered with the Rotary Club of Port of Spain by way of Silver Sponsorship of the Annual District Games for Primary Schools in Port of Spain and Environs. This event was held on 2025 May 1st at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. A staple in the community, this track and field athletic meet allows young athletes to shine and grow in a safe and encouraging environment while uniting over 800 primary school athletes. The games go beyond sport – building discipline, teamwork, mutual respect, professionalism and passion – all of which are enshrined in the Company’s Core Values.

In attendance at the meeting were representatives of NP, its North Service Station Dealers, Vidal Sealey – Manager Protective Services of First Citizens Bank (FCB), Darrin Carmichael – Director Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago and Assistant Superintendent Ashraf Ali of the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service (TTPS).

NP Joins Global Coastal Clean-Up

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy with Environmental Protection as a focal area, Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) joined volunteers from hundreds of countries in hosting a beach clean-up exercise on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at the Manzanilla Beach, in support of the International
Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day. The event was coordinated by CNIRD (Caribbean Network for Integrated Rural Development) with NP as part of the National Planning Committee.

NP Donates to F.E.E.L for food hamper distribution

In an effort to meet the needs of vulnerable groups and those in need of support during this COVID-19 pandemic, the Trinidad & Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (NP) on Wednesday 6 th May 2020, made a donation to the Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL) towards relief food hampers.

NP’s donation will aid in the distribution of food hampers to civil society organisations in need, Forecourt Attendants and other Service Station personnel who are braving the outbreak and the most vulnerable families within the Company’s fenceline communities in Sea Lots, Beetham Gardens, John John, Laventille and environs.
On hand for the donation, NP’s Chief Executive Officer (Ag), John Gormandy noted that “now more than ever organisations needed to shift gears and join the fight against COVID-19, by pledging support, mobilizing operation and providing financial support for vulnerable individuals and communities”.
NP has risen to the challenge to support families, frontline healthcare professionals and vulnerable individuals affected by this pandemic and will continue to work with trusted NGOs to help people and communities cope with the unprecedented health, social and economic challenges produced by the pandemic.
